Elemental Wings: Ch. 3 The power of three (Pt.2)
(A/N: Okay, so after constant edits and rewrites, I FINALLY finished this chapter! -_- *SIGH*. If it took me this long to write this one imagine the next installments afterwards. But I hope that they won't take as long considering that I actually kind of know the direction that it will take unlike this one, where I basically just wrote stuff from the top of my head. I kinda also rushed the endings to get it out of the way so... if it seems sub-par I won't say I didn't warn you -_-. But anyway, be prepared 'cuz this chapter is a long one compared to the others. All in all I actually like the way it ended up. There will be one more part to conc

“You speak English? Hey wait!” Katsuya shouted jumping to his feet and running towards the newly made exit, following the ninja.
The older boy reached the hole just as Katsuya shouted, “Who are you working for?!”
Then he jumped and let gravity subdue him as he fell down a few stories from where he and Katsuya were fighting. Katsuya, noticing the steep drop at the last minute, suddenly halted himself to a stop before slipping and almost falling.
“Who was he?”
Suddenly the ground began shaking again, “An earthquake?”

PART ONE
Katsuya opened his eyes from his drifting slumber. He suddenly felt a weird pounding going through his head and placed his hand on it before sitting up. The young boy’s drowsy vision slowly cleared, “Where-Where am I?” Katsuya asked himself whilst looking around at the unknown room he lied in. There were pelts of odd animal skins hanging from the walls, which were made of some type of wood. Paintings with some odd writing language were hung off of them as well. One of which read: “તમે સાંભળવા માટે પસંદ

Elemental Wings Book 1: Chapter 2: The new power
After setting foot through the odd portal in his room, Katsuya reappeared in the middle of a dark, silenced forest staring suspiciously at the dense setting, “Okay, I’m here now,” He said irritably, “so when will my questions be answered? How will you convince me that you’re not lying Elena?” Katsuya said the last part sarcastically.
There was no answer.
“Elena?” Katsuya started turning his head in all directions, “Are you there?”
Still no answer.
Katsuya, now pissed, rolled his eyes and said, “Are you serious?” He throws his hands up, “Goddamn it! This lady too

“Goodbye for now guardians, may your next life teach you well. Until we meet again…” A woman’s voice echoed as she looked down at her feet and noticed her body being encased in crystals. They covered her legs, shoulder, and before they encased her face, “…until we meet again.”
RIING
The now 13 year old Katusya Kirafuda wakes up in shock, startled at the noise. He rubs his eyes and begins to pick up his books, lost in thought, “…until we meet again.” The voice echoed in his mind. He ran his right hand through his jet black spiky hair and sighed, “It’s that dream again

Elemental Wings: Book #1: Prologue
A thousand years ago, in a world still undiscovered by scientists, there lived people a lot like us. But one thing that differs us from them was that certain people in this world had a special element to control, with the help of a magic ring that contained a certain gem inside. Each ring could help control the elements of air, water, nature, fire, light, and the most feared of all darkness.
The world called Elenarth, created and named after their leader Elena, was often at peace. Elena, however, felt a strange darkness about to engulf her world, and knew that this power would be one that she herself couldn't be able to defeat alone. So usin

"I can't write an action/fight scene worth a crap. Mind you, I can usually imagine them, I just can't write them." -- Wanna Do a Fight Scene.
If you can imagine it - you can write it. The easiest way is by doing it in LAYERS.
The Quick and Dirty Method for writing Action Scenes

Start with a list of ACTIONS & Reactions < in that order.
-- Actions ALWAYS go before Reactions.
(IMPORTANT! Each CHARACTER gets a SEPERATE LINE. ~ NEVER clump the separate actions of two different characters in the same paragraph or the reader will get confused as to who is doing what very quickly.)

Writing Tips: Characterisation
Characterisation: Avoiding the Dreaded Mary Sue
The characters you write are arguably the biggest part of your story. Theyre the vessel through which the reader is able to identify with the themes and ideas that youre trying to share. But creating brand new lives from thin air can sometimes be rather difficult. You have to find their voice, their needs, their personality; its a rather delicate balance, really.
Rather tempting, and often encouraged by teachers, is to do a Character Profile to help come up with some of the details. These are often pre-made sets of questions ranging from the mundane (eye colour, h
Accents, Foreign Languages, and Regional Dialects
There are times when your story may have one or more character speaking a different language, or with a different accent than the rest. There are many different ways a writer can go about presenting this to the reader, and before we go any further, I will concede that some of it is a matter of personal taste, and on this particular matter, you wont be able to please everybody. So, consider this bit not so much a lesson, but rather a series of guidelines.
Accents
Everyone has one. Even if you think that you dont, theres someone, somewhere in the world who would disagree wit
One way to add excitement to your story is by adding lots of bad-guys, also known as EXTERNAL Conflict. Another way is by adding INTERNAL Conflict, more commonly known as Angst.
I'm sure most of you have noticed by now that most movie characters, and far too many book characters, are One-Dimensional. They do stuff, but they don't face any personality issues: a hang-up, a fear, paranoia, a moral code, a love interest, a strong dislike Or worse, they do have all these things, but they never really affect the story.
There's a Plot Arc, things happen, but no Character Arc. The things that happen don't affect the characters emotionally.
